My, my I'm officially a nenek kebayan (old lady)!!! Well, that's what
Mommy calls me whenever I have lower back pain. It's funny to be called a nenek
kebayan, but I can't afford to laugh as it will add more pain to my
already-painful-lower-back.
I do walk like this minus the stick
and it's not something I'm proud of =p
This is definitely not the first time, it's been on and off since 2008 I guess. Doc said it got nothing to do with the bones, it's just the ligament but the pain is like no-right-word-to-describe-it. I can't sit properly, I can't walk properly, I can't lie down properly, I can't get up properly, I can't do anything properly!! And I refuse to see the doc coz he'll prescribe me those giant painkiller pills again. Yucks, I hate pills, and I always have trouble swallowing pills. Who was the 'kind' guy who invented pills? Pills, they are my ultimate torture machine. Anyone wants to torture me, get me to swallow pills okay.
Dad blamed me for my bad posture. Daddy, my posture is fine. Okay, I admit that I somehow sat wrongly (?) during yesterday's lunch but u know me, clumsy lil angel hehehe. I'm terribly sorry to bother you to stock up the Salonpas patches (I like it when they make my skin feel tling, tling, tling =D and yes, it becomes quite addictive for sure).
My advice to all kids and adults out there, take care of your lower back. It's really troublesome when it hurts. Imagine that you paralyze your lower half. It's hard to move, plus the pain is not something that you're willing to bear. I somehow prefer menstrual cramp than this one. When you spend long time sitting down, make sure u stretch. The best one that I personally love is the yoga's cow pose or bitilasan. I know the word 'yoga' gonna cause frenzy but hey it's just a stretch pose, no chanting whatsoever. Do that and you don't have to end up being a nenek kebayan like me =)
