I'm Having a Baby???
Big Sis told me earlier "You better have a baby A.S.A.P." I was speechless by that. A baby? Now? Are
you out of your mind? I'm not married, I'm not even dating anyone. You know what
Big Sis? Why don't you have your own
baby first? You kan the eldest
heheh. Daddy said cannot langkah
bendul heheh.
Me, having a baby? Mmm...I used to think I was ready to have one. Fortunately, since I've been helping Mommy taking care TingTong, only I realized that having a baby is not easy. Well, don't blame me. I still remembered the day when I had to care for Lil Sis. It was easy. Even Mommy said she's surprised of how easy it was with Lil Sis. Yea, Lil Sis always be a good, obedient one, unlike me who's a total rebellious haha. Don't get me wrong. TingTong is a wonderful baby, but she has her own temperament. It's perfectly normal, she's just trying to be a baby =) I'm glad that I have the chance of taking care her, she teaches me how a real baby should behave and make me realized that no, I'm not ready to have one my own.
I don't mind waking up in the middle of the night to feed and play with my lil ones. I don't mind spending much of my time playing with her or him (or both ahaha). I don't mind cleaning up the poo-poo and all. I don't mind if my husband said "I want you to stop working and take care of the babies". Seriously, I don't mind, provided that he could give me what I want (read: shoes!!). What I'm afraid is I can't be a good mother. I'm not sure about other people but for me, being a mother means not only I'm responsible for conceiving and giving birth to the baby, I'm also responsible to educate and shape my children to be persons with healthy personalities and soul that obeys the Mighty One. I don't think I'm ready for that. It's a huge responsibility. I'm not saying that I'm running from the responsibility. I know one day I'll be ready but that day is still far. I still have to equip myself with the knowledge. Geez, I guess being competitive is not always good after all.
Well, Big Sis, I'm sorry but I can't have babies right now. Perhaps in 10 years time. I need to find a good husband first hehe. Perhaps you can help me with finding one eh?

Lessons Learned (Yea Right)
I always love Disney classic cartoons. They remind me a lot of the beautiful days
during my childhood. I especially love
the six princesses. They're so
beautiful. Princess Aurora (Sleeping
Beauty), Princess Jasmine (Aladdin), Snow White (from the Snow white of coz),
Cinderella (Cinderella), Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and Ariel (The Little
Mermaid). I still remember wanting to be
them so much that I always pictured myself as one of them, I bet other lil’
girls do this as well =p These are what
I learned from all six movies:
The Sleeping Beauty:
1. We need to be aware of our surrounding. Even when things seem to go the way we want it, somehow, somewhere there'll be challenges waiting for us in the most unpredictable ways like the wicked fairy's gift.
2. Sometimes when face with challenges, all our previous hard works might collided. It's okay to feel frustrated if this happen, we're only humans. But never forget that hope is always there.
3. Curiosity is good, but don't trust strangers.
4. Be careful of needles!! Ouch!!
Aladdin:
1. Be yourself. You can pretend to be whoever you want to be just to impress someone but it won't make you happy.
2. Don't judge people by the way they look. Who knows the short, chubby old man you met yesterday is actually a Sultan??!!
3. Be careful of monkey coz they're great thieves!! I even had my slipper stolen by a monkey once!!
Snow White:
1. Dwarfs might look sinister but they have good hearts (yup even Mr Grumpy).
2. People you trust might one day backstab you so don't be too naive and gullible.
3. Apples are not good for health hahah.
4. When things look too good to be true (the red shining apple), be careful.
5. When the elders give you advice, listen to it and it might save your life.
6. It's nice to have a maid to clean up your house =)
Cinderella:
1. Girls MUST have at least one beautiful dress and a pair of killer shoes!!
2. When you don't have time to do things you've to do, outsource!!! (but don't let the mice do it for you).
3. Make a grand entrance to any party by arriving late (only applies to parties okay).
4. Curfew is good, or things will get pretty ugly without it or if you missed it =|
5. If you want to get something, work hard for it even if it means you have to search the entire kingdom for the person who could fit the glass slipper.
6. For shoe addicts, never ever got yourself a glass ones coz they can break into pieces =(
Beauty and the Beast:
1. It's okay to be a nerd, people still want you haha.
2. Always ask for permission if you want other people's stuff or the Beast will capture you!
3. Arrogant people are real pain in the arse so don't be one.
4. Even when life is bitter, never wish not to be apart of it coz giving up is the worse things you could do for your own self.
5. There's always good things in a bad person, and bad things in a good person.
6. People will always sacrifice for their love ones.
The Little Mermaid:
1. King Triton is always better and has more fun than Prince Eric hahah.
2. You can be cheeky, but never be forgetful or your parents will get angry.
3. Nature is a great place to learn lotsa things!!
4. Always keep your memorabilia (eg: photos, journals) coz they are the meaningful things in your life that you can passed down to your generations.
5. If you have a secret hideout (or a diary that you don't want to share with other people), make sure you guard it properly.
6. Never ever trust octopus (that's including Paul!).
7. Before making an important decision (like turning into a human), it's better to discuss with those who have more experience. Then only you decide what's the best for yourself and others.
Phew! I never imagine that I could learn so much from cartoons. These are my insights, it's okay if you don't agree with them. It doesn't matter. By the way, here's what I found on the Net last night:
Haha it's true, if you look at it that way. Whatever it is, my favourite is definitely Princess Fiona (I wonder why she's not included in the Disney's princesses? She's a princess too, and she's cooler than those six princesses =p)

Pain in the Ass (No, I'm not Cursing)
I know this particular person. Let's
called this person Vex, from the word 'vexation'. I don't really like Vex. Honestly. Vex annoys me very much.
You see, Vex has a big mouth. I can't tell Vex anything coz I'm sure Vex will 'accidentally' tell some else. 'Accidentally' means you confront Vex and ask Vex why Vex told other people, and Vex's answer is "I'm sorry. It really slipped out of my mouth..". If it happened once, okay fine, it's a real 'accidentally' but when it happens over and over again? I read accidentally=purposely.
Secondly, Vex has this incredible ability to bad mouth other people behind their backs. I really couldn't believe my ears the first time I heard it. OMG! It's so awful. The words. The facial and body language Vex used. I was so disgusted by the act.
Thirdly, Vex always talk about other people as if Vex know them. Lemme rephrase that. Vex always make up stories about other people as if they are Vex's best friends. They are not. I think Vex never seen a mirror before coz whatever bad things Vex said about other people were really the qualities that you can find in Vex, once you know Vex long enough. And you think I care about all the made-up stories you told me all this while?? Puh-lease.
Fourthly, Vex loves giving me reason for not doing Vex's work. Vex is very irresponsible. Don't give Vex any work coz: a) Vex will not do it. b) Vex will give so many excuses nearing the datelines. c) even if Vex did the work, the quality is very frustrating. Really.
Fifthly, whenever you have a conversation with Vex, Vex will ignore you unless: a) it is about someone else (read: not about yourself). b) skipping responsibility. c) bitching about other people. d) the latest gossip in town. What is Vex thinking? The world revolves around Vex?
My advice to Vex: stop giving me stupid excuses coz they are really stupid and I'm not stupid to believe them. You are really pain the arse!! Even my counsellor said you're toxic. Eeuurrgghhhh!!!!! I don't like you!!

The Ant Philosophy
This is the very first
article by Jim Rohn that I read few years back. His work was rather a bit, umm serious, as Big
Sis might say it but this is the type of writings that I normally read. This particular article has captivated me the
moment I read it, and it always does whenever I read it. So here it is and hope it will influence you
the way it did to me: to be all that I possibly can be.
Over the years I've been teaching children about a simple but powerful concept - the ant philosophy. I think everybody should study ants. They have an amazing four- part philosophy, and here is the first part: ants never quit. That's a good philosophy. If they're headed somewhere and you try to stop them; they'll look for another way. They'll climb over, they'll climb under, they'll climb around. They keep looking for another way. What a neat philosophy, to never quit looking for a way to get where you're supposed to go.
Second, ants think winter all summer. That's an important perspective. You can't be so naive as to think summer will last forever. So ants are gathering in their winter food in the middle of summer.
An ancient story says, "Don't build your house on the sand in the summer." Why do we need that advice? Because it is important to be realistic. In the summer, you've got to think storm. You've got to think rocks as you enjoy the sand and sun. Think ahead.
The third part of the ant philosophy is that ants think summer all winter. That is so important. During the winter, ants remind themselves, "This won't last long; we'll soon be out of here." And the first warm day, the ants are out. If it turns cold again, they'll dive back down, but then they come out the first warm day. They can't wait to get out.
And here's the last part of the ant philosophy. How much will an ant gather during the summer to prepare for the winter? All that he possibly can. What an incredible philosophy, the "all-that-you-possibly-can" philosophy.
Wow, what a great seminar to attend - the ant seminar. Never give up, look ahead, stay positive and do all you can.

Freedom is Finally Mine!!
What are the plans for this holiday? Mmm....fasting, for sure. And I need to brush up my cooking skills (what skill??). I guess fasting really makes people think about food and that's the reason why I'm being so excited to cook. Imagine after almost 14 hours without food and a drop of water (except for my own saliva yucks!), having a nice home-cooked meal is definitely a winner. For me, the aromatic smell is good enough to make me full heheh (hey, hey I'm on diet remember?). Talking about fasting, today is the 5th day I fast. I know Ramadhan is kinda faaarrr away but I guess I better start early so that I won't have lame excuses (too tired or gastric, again!) during the fasting month. It's a great thing as well coz Lil’ Sis is fasting as well to repay all her debts hahaha. So the sahurs and iftars are more delightful coz Mom cooks a lot of thing. Yea, Mom, not me. As for today, she’s making spicy beef with sambal tempe, which is my favourite!! I love tempe. I can survive with tempe alone. And water, of course. I remember when I was back in UiTM, my Javanese friends love making fun of me coz I had tempe almost everyday. Plus, I don't even have any Javanese blood in me! (I'm got my Minang side from Mom, which is super cool!!) I guess even the Javanese clans are not as addicted to tempe as I am. Well, I got it from Mom and Grandpa. But hey, I totally disagree that you have to be a Javanese to enjoy tempe. Tempe is good and even Nicole Kidman eats them (I swear I read about this somewhere).
By now, I guess most people can guess that I love to eat huh? I am, but I'm a very picky eater. I only eat good food. So if you know any good food, anywhere at all, do tell me coz all those food will taste better in my mouth hehe. Oh yea, by the way, do you know that our taste buds can detect SIX different tastes as compared to 5 that we used to learned back in high school? And remember the following pic?
It's not true at all!! There’s no specific area on the tongue for a particular taste. God is so intelligent that He created our taste buds equally capable to detect all 6 tastes. I wonder why the textbook has not been updated on this. Perhaps the information is too precious that only people in biology field know. Funny haha and I learnt it in my psychology class duh!
One more thing, do you realize that after chewing the same gum for 30 minutes, it gone tasteless? Actually it doesn't. It's just our taste receptors became numb of the taste =) (also learnt in psych class. Psychology rocks!!!)
There you go. A lil trivia for today =)

The 1st Battle
Tomorrow is the day. The day of my very first paper for this semester. The
subject: Career Guidance II. The prep? Er...not so good I would say hahaha.
Still got another 12 hours to get ready, and hopefully everything will go
smoothly, insyaAllah.
By the way, it's World Cup's final tonight so to all football fans (it sounds so much better than soccer =p) happy watching!!! Which team will win, Netherlands or Spain? It doesn't matter. Germany is always the best team =)
I'm as nervous as this lil fella
right now =p

What?! 1-0?!
Haih, I'm kinda frustrated over the Germany's lost but what can I say. I'm
so kempunan to see Germany at final!!! I'm so frustrated that I barely
do any reading at all. Lil Sis even skipped school because of it!! I'm not sure
whether to watch the game between Germany and Uruguay this Saturday, I'm so
broken-hearted!!
Never mind, they can always try again in the next 4 years huhu!!
Anyway, Torres, I wish you all the best for final. I hope Netherlands win nyehehe =p

The Opening (al-Fatiha)
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Praise be to God, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds;
Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
Master of the Day of Judgment.
Thee do we worship, Thine aid we seek.
Show us the straight way,
The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

Ice, Ice Baby
It's raining,
It's pouring,
Aida's stomach keep rumbling....
I hate it when it rains cats and dogs coz it makes me hungry. I'm thinking of thick, creamy vanilla ice cream right now. The one that only melts in your mouth, not in the bowl... I think I should make some tonight =)
I better off to buy some fresh milk and whipping cream. Looks like someone's gonna have ice cream for breakfast tomorrow yabedabeduuuu!!!!

Chocolate Fever
I've been craving for chocolate these past few days. Okay, I always craving
for chocs, I admit but this time it's different. I want something thick and
melts the moment I put it in my mouth. Mmm...yummy. Then I remember: I
haven't baked my famous choc and cheese muffins yet for year 2010!!!
Perhaps I should bake some this weekend. Definitely. Or maybe I should bake
tomorrow. Yeay!! At the same time, I should bake some choc chip cookies as
well... Oh, Big Sis, I think you have a strong reason to be home this weekend
=) I think I should go shop for the ingredients now. In the meantime, enjoy the
pics of the muffins and cookies =)
They don't look good, I know but they
taste great!! Trust me =) That's not really choc sauce but melted choc chips
I can't wait to munch these things!!!
Starving!!! Since EidFitr is near, perhaps I should sell some =)
Feeling Helpless
Have you ever felt helpless and you have no idea why you felt such way? And if you told your counsellor about this,
he, for sure, would ask if you're under stress. So does helpless = stress? I'm not quite sure myself. There are times when everything that I planned
falls exactly where it supposed to be, but still I feel anxious. Or I'm in this midst of busyness when
suddenly, out of nowhere, this anxiety creep into me without warning and
explanation. I tried almost every method that I learnt in
psych course or tips that I found on the Net. They're sometime worked, sometimes not. Even if they worked, only for few moments
before the feeling continue to haunt me. Am I going crazy?? I don't know. I don't want to know.
Sometimes I feel as if I'm not safe here. Or in any part of the world. Feel like someone, or something is after me.
Sometimes I feel lonely. Even when I'm being surrounded by people that I truly love.
Sometimes I feel I'm not good enough in everything that I do. I feel I've disappointed many people, especially my parents. I feel I didn't push myself 100% to get what I want in life.
Sometimes I feel like crying, as if I could suddenly feel all the sorrow in this world.
Most of the time, I just feel like I'm alone, on my own, trying to survive in this cruel world.
I never talk about this to anyone, for I'm afraid people might negatively judge me.
I never talk about this to anyone for fear I might break down and cry in front of them.
I never talk about this to anyone as I don't want those who count me for their emotional support might feel they lose me.
I never talk about this to anyone because I'm afraid I might taint the strong image that I always portray.
I never talk about this to anyone because I just don't know how.
Then, I remembered Him. He's the one who will always there for me, not matter what time it is. He's the one who listen to me without judging me at all. He's the one who will comfort me and tell me that He'll always be by my side, guiding me in everything that I do. He's my strength. He's my everything.
Seek help with patience and prayer; and this indeed is hard except for the humble in spirit, who know for certain that they will meet their Lord, and that to Him will they return.

Germany vs Argentina
Wah, I was nervous throughout the day coz its the night where the team that
I support (Germany) and the player that I support (Messi, Mr Its-worth-it)
faced one another. I was so restless that I decided not to watch the match at
all hahaha. Was it because I couldn't accept the reality that one will lose?
Hahaha I guess so.
So at last, the result: Germany won 4-0. Geez, 4 over nothing??? Messi, it's definitely not worth it!!!! I told you to change your nationality but you didn't listen. Now look what happened. Sigh. But nevertheless, I'm happy that Germany won. You guys rock!!!

Friends Indeed
I was reading 'Her World' magazine (July's issue) when I found this article titled ' Friends Indeed!'. It's about six types of toxic friends that one passes in his/her course of life. When reading this, my thought went "Aha, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones to meet such people!" Yup, I've met all six types and yes, I have to admit that I, sometimes, fulfilled some of the criteria (hey, I'm not perfect okay!!). Here are the details:
1. The Promise Breaker The friend who constantly disappoints or breaks promises, most likely because she herself has been constantly disappointed when younger. (For me this is the most unacceptable ones especially if the person made me waited for her for ages. Geez, I hate wasting my time waiting for people. If you make a promise, please deliver it. It's nothing more terrible than empty promises coz they'll make other people (read: ME) lose their respect for you. I know there were times when I was the 'Miss Promise Breaker' and I wasn't proud of it. I definitely felt guilty for making the other party miserable. I'm sorry. But worry not, I'm a new leaf =D)
2. The Double Crosser The friend who betrays you either by backstabbing you or stops speaking to you without explanation, then later behaves like nothing happens. (Whoa, I'm really scared of this type. Backstabbing is NOT COOL. If you think those people who you backstabbed won't find out, you're wrong. Words spread faster than light. It's definitely an act of the coward. Why? Coz in ancient world, those who stabbed their opponents from the back are definitely called COWARD as the opponents had no chance of defending themselves. Same goes with friendship. I, sometimes, do stop talking to people without explanation. If I did this to you, it simply means: I'm angry at you and I refuse to talk to you coz I'm pretty sure I might say something that might offended you in any ways. So turn around and leave me until I cool down so that we can discuss about it sensibly)
3. The Self-absorbed The friend who listens to you only because she's waiting to speak. (This type is the hardest to meet. Most of the self-absorbed people that I met didn't even care to listen to what I said at all (or could it be I was saying rubbish?). There are a lot of these people in my current college and I personally know one of them. Euurrghhh very rude, I might say. How do I deal with such people? I stop paying attention to what they're saying hahah. That should give them the taste of their own medicine. Do you feel hurt by that??? Well, that's how the rest of us felt when you ignored our words hahaha)
4. The Discloser The friend who doesn't understand the concept of 'confidentiality'. (Wahh, these are the type of people who you should never trust with your secrets. They're the kay-poh ones. Always want you to update them with the latest news and the next thing you know, your secret is on the front page of the news!! Luckily, I'm not the kind of person how easily shared my secrets with others. Imagine if these people entrusted with their company's sensitive info. Wonder if the company will end up bankruptcy? =P)
5. The Competitor The friend who struggles to be happy for your success. (Well, I am the competitor. Not to say I struggle to be happy with my friends' success, I'm genuinely happy for them but at the same time I feel envy. If they can succeed, so can I. Maybe I'm a bit greedy, for wanting all the good things to myself, but who doesn't?)
6. The Fault Finder The friend who has a problem with what you say, do or wear. (Hahaha, I love this one. They're what I call the pessimists. Funny to see how they see a train at the end of the tunnel when everyone else sees the light. These people are the vampires, they suck all the positive energy out of you. O Lord, please do not let these people cross my path, for them will turn all milk sour. If you're one of these people, enough is enough. Stop whining and start enjoying your life.)
It's not easy to deal with these people, but I have to say that dealing with them will make you realized that with all the flaws that you have, you're not that bad at all.

Erk?!! Really?
I was doing my weekly Net browsing yesterday when I saw this image. I think
it's hilarious because it's quite common nowadays to see the picture in left (Malaysian
Hijab Style) on the streets in any part of KL. Whenever I see this type
of people, I feel pity for them. You can be fashionable, but please do so
intelligently. Before you step out from your house/room/box/whatever you call
it, just take one good look of yourself in the mirror but of course, you need to invest
in a long-mirror (and put it right next to the exit door).
ne more thing, what's with the camel humps?? It's so ugly and make you
look as if you have a gigantic tumour on your head. Girls and ladies, please
lose the humps okay. It's definitely not cool. If you refuse to do so, just
make sure you will never choose the seats in front of mine in the cinema. I pay
RM10 to watch a good movie, not your oh-look-at-my-big-hump. Besides, I don't
think guys think it's sexy as well, they much prefer if the humps are on the
other part of your body sweetie, rather than on your head =p

Ouch, It Hurts!!
My, my I'm officially a nenek kebayan (old lady)!!! Well, that's what
Mommy calls me whenever I have lower back pain. It's funny to be called a nenek
kebayan, but I can't afford to laugh as it will add more pain to my
already-painful-lower-back.
I do walk like this minus the stick
and it's not something I'm proud of =p
This is definitely not the first time, it's been on and off since 2008 I guess. Doc said it got nothing to do with the bones, it's just the ligament but the pain is like no-right-word-to-describe-it. I can't sit properly, I can't walk properly, I can't lie down properly, I can't get up properly, I can't do anything properly!! And I refuse to see the doc coz he'll prescribe me those giant painkiller pills again. Yucks, I hate pills, and I always have trouble swallowing pills. Who was the 'kind' guy who invented pills? Pills, they are my ultimate torture machine. Anyone wants to torture me, get me to swallow pills okay.
Dad blamed me for my bad posture. Daddy, my posture is fine. Okay, I admit that I somehow sat wrongly (?) during yesterday's lunch but u know me, clumsy lil angel hehehe. I'm terribly sorry to bother you to stock up the Salonpas patches (I like it when they make my skin feel tling, tling, tling =D and yes, it becomes quite addictive for sure).
My advice to all kids and adults out there, take care of your lower back. It's really troublesome when it hurts. Imagine that you paralyze your lower half. It's hard to move, plus the pain is not something that you're willing to bear. I somehow prefer menstrual cramp than this one. When you spend long time sitting down, make sure u stretch. The best one that I personally love is the yoga's cow pose or bitilasan. I know the word 'yoga' gonna cause frenzy but hey it's just a stretch pose, no chanting whatsoever. Do that and you don't have to end up being a nenek kebayan like me =)
