Happy New Year!!

I know I've been quiet lately but lotsa things happened that had kept me so occupied that I, geez I couldn't believe I'm going to say this but, yup, I kinda forgot to blog :P I know it sounds silly but that's what really happened. Sadly, the 3-week hols is almost come to an end tsk, tsk.

Lil Sis started her final school year today, and boy I was more reckless than her!!! After nine years graduating from high school, I couldn't believe myself that I actually miss the feeling I had during first day of school. New uniforms, new bag, new shoes, new socks. Everything was new!! Ish, what a spoilt brat I was. Yeah, not to forget, new resolutions as well.

Talking about new resolutions, it has been 3 years since the last time I had a new year's resolution. You see, ever since I can remember it, I always celebrate my new years with new resolutions but I'm proud to say that I seldom achieve them or the worst case is, I often forget about them before March!! I only realized it when I made new resolutions at the end of the year and I hate it!! Perhaps my memory cannot be trusted after all!! (Good Aida, blame on your memory!) So for year 2007, I decided that I should stop torturing myself with the feeling of disappointment and I came up with the best New Year’s resolution ever: I resolute not to have any new year's resolution ever again. Surprisingly, I'm doing great so far heheh. Isn't that wonderful? =) But this doesn't mean that I don't have any resolution, it just I don't have new year's resolutions. I figured out that it is more achievable for me to move into action when the motivation is high rather than to wait for the New Year to come. What happen if I don't live until New Year? Would I die in regret?

It is nothing wrong with having New Year’s resolutions. Some people need to have the new year's spirit to turn a new leaf. It's better than having none.

I wish everyone a happy new year and I hope the year 2010 will be a better year for everyone and let's make Earth a better place to live!
